The University’s giant yard sale—From Old2Gold—will be held May 24. Donate unwanted items to From Old2Gold beginning April 26.

FAQs

What can be donated?

Any usable item (clean clothing, wood from lofts, couches, printers, computers, storage bins, etc.) and any nonperishable, unopened food items.

Where do I donate?

Barrels will be placed on the first floor of each residence hall for unopened, nonperishable food items and cleaning products.

Marked trucks will be parked near select residence halls for collection of clothing and other items. If a truck is not parked near your hall, leave your items at designated locations just outside your hall.

In case of bad weather, a temporary indoor site will be identified inside each residence hall (please look for signs).

When can I donate?

Collections will begin Saturday, April 26. Trucks will be parked overnight beginning Friday, April 25. Collections will continue until May 21. If you have items to donate before April 26, contact Building Services 631-6383 to find out how to donate them.

I live off campus. Can I donate items?

Yes. You can drop items off at the stadium Gate C, Monday, April 28, thru Friday, May 21, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Do not leave items outside the stadium.

Can I volunteer to work?

Students can volunteer their time and raise money for a local agency of their choice. If you are interested in volunteering, send an e-mail to old2gold@nd.edu by no later than Friday, April 18.
